UFO Sightings in 2017

UFO Sightings in 2017 WASHINGTON — In the $600 billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 million spent on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was almost impossible to find.  Which was how the Pentagon wanted it. For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze. The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012. But its backers say that, while the Pentagon ended funding for the effort at that time, the program remains in existence. For the past five years, they say, officials with the program have continued to investigate episodes brought to them by service members, while also carrying out their other

Goldbuster Movie Review

Goldbuster Movie Review The Hong Kong comedy star plays a small-time crook posing as a ghostbuster who ends up in a battle between tenants and developers in this comedy spoof A venerable comedy actress who occasionally hints at a touch of social conscience beneath the slapstick antics of her loud but likeable characters, Sandra Ng Kwan-yue finally follows her husband Peter Chan Ho-sun’s footsteps into making her directing debut with this horror comedy, produced by Chan and based on an original story by Ng and popular writer Ong Yi-hing. Before Hong Kong film fans begin to sneer at the wholesale ‘mainlandisation’ of Ng’s quirky tale, which takes place in an unidentified Chinese city and features a cast predominantly from China (its two Hong Kong characters are, somewhat unnecessarily, introduced as being “from Hong Kong”), it is worth noting that Goldbuster does tackle a favourite subject of Hongkongers. With several notable comedians from China – as well as Hong Kong’s F

In Between Movie Review

In Between Movie Review Watching “In Between,” about a trio of young Palestinian women! Watching “In Between,” about a trio of young Palestinian women in Tel Aviv trying to shape their own destinies despite being part of a conservative society entrenched in patriarchy, I realized the sisterhood created by Arab-Israeli filmmaker Maysaloun Hamoud, making her feature debut, was partly indebted to Hollywood’s gaggle-of-girls genre. Think “Three Coins in the Fountain,” “Where the Boys Are,“ “Sex and the City” and even hints of “9 to 5” and “Thelma and Louise.” Yes, there are English subtitles onscreen, but the actions of these roommates easily translate into a familiar pattern, one that I have always found to be irresistible: Three or four single women with distinctive personalities—an extrovert, a goody-goody, an arty type, etc.—share their intertwined lives. Usually, one suffers a tragic incident of sorts that causes their bond to grow stronger. "In Between Movie Image&quo

Annabelle: Creation Movie Review

Annabelle: Creation Movie Review Movie Details and Credits: Starring: Adam Bartley, Alicia Vela-Bailey, Anthony LaPaglia, Brad Greenquist, Grace Fulton, Joseph Bishara, Kerry O'Malley, Lulu Wilson, Mark Bramhall, Miranda Otto, Philippa Coulthard, Samara Lee, Stephanie Sigman, Talitha Bateman Summary: Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle. Director: David F. Sandberg Genre(s): Mystery, Thriller, Horror Rating: R Runtime: 109 min Movie Review: It used to be a pretty reliable rule of moviedom that sequels to inferior horror films were even more worthless than the original. After all, how do you build on nothing? Last year’s “Ouija: Origin of Evil” was widely and correctly considered superior to the dull original, and 2017 repeats that shocking trick with “Annabelle

UFO sightings in the United States

UFO sightings in the United States! The sci-fi series "The X-Files" popularized the saying "the truth is out there." And in the past 15 years, thousands of UFO sightings across the United States show a lot of people are still looking.   "UFO Plane in USA" A new list of the top cities in the U.S. that have had UFO sightings from 2001-2015 has been published, with Phoenix topping the list, according to a story in the Syracuse New Times. The data is pulled from the book " UFO Sightings Desk Reference: United States of America 2001-2015," written by Cheryl Costa and Linda Miller Costa. Published in March 2017, the book compiles "data and analysis for 100,000+ sightings of unidentified flying objects reported by individuals during the first 15 years of the 21st century." The numbers as crunched by Kaggle, also show that the majority of sightings take place on a Saturday, and the most common time of day is 9-11pm. It also s

Daddy's Home 2 Movie Review 2018

Daddy's Home 2 Movie Review 2018 Daddy’s Home 2 movie review: Starring two convicts (Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson), one tragically unfunny Will Ferrell, for zero stars. Categorically the worst film of the year. Imdb rating: 6.2/10 Recently, Mark Wahlberg, a devout Catholic, said during a Church event that he hoped God is a forgiving movie fan because he - Wahlberg - had “made some poor choices” in his past that he regrets. Like any marginally aware person, you’re probably nodding in silent agreement. Yes, Mark Wahlberg has made some poor choices in his past, but hey, at least he’s willing to own up to it. Perhaps that’s the exact thought the Cardinal sat next to him had when he, displaying the presence of mind of a People Magazine reporter, prodded him to name and shame that one most embarrassing movie. Perhaps, like you or I, the Cardinal expected Wahlberg to sheepishly admit that his two Transformers movies were, even by the standards of Transformers movies, a sin that just

UFO' sighting over Tasmania sparks intelligent alien life theories on Facebook

UFO' sighting over Tasmania sparks intelligent alien life theories on Facebook The mystery of a fireball crossing the Tasmanian skyline has been solved, but not before Facebook users declared alien life had finally made it to Tasmania. The federal government's air navigation services provider Airservices Australia confirmed the object captured on hundreds of mobile phones and cameras across southern Tasmania early on Tuesday morning was nothing more than an aircraft "as it passed over Australian airspace". But that assertion did not stop members of the public drawing their own conclusions and disparaging naysayers for their lack of faith. Striking footage of the object filmed by Sorell resident Lee-Anne Peters caused a frenzy as Facebook users speculated on what it could be, with the International Space Station, meteorites, plane contrails, fairies and, of course, spacecraft from another galaxy among the mix of possibilities. "It was very slow moving
